Argument Against the Korean War:
The Korean War was such a bloodshed. With the United States, Soviet Union, China, North Korea, and South Korea, these countries either allied or remained enemies. The United States and South Korea teamed up while the rest of the countries made their own group. Communist countries like the Soviet Union, China, and North Korea had a plan. They wanted to spread communism to South Korea (over the 38th Parallel) and take control of that land. But first, they would need to initiate a war, which is what North Korea did June 25th, 1950.
In my opinion, North Korea wasn't doing the right thing. By launching that surprise attack and starting the Korean War, it created such a commotion. North Korea was being selfish. They wanted to be a bigger and more controlling country with South Korea. They just wanted the power. They didn't grasp the fact that they could easily be on their own, with China and the Soviet Union, and control themselves. They could be a communist country on their own. They didn't need to capture South Korea for that. They were being inconsiderate.

North Korea knew how weak South Korea was, yet they still tried to take advantage of them. They knew they would easily take control if it hadn't been for the United States coming for the South's rescue. North Korea really didn't need to attack the South. It wasn't necessary.
The whole Korean War wasn't necessary. It was 4 or 5 years of complete useless fighting. In the end, the North was separated from the nation as a communist country. This is something the North should have done from the very beginning. Starting the war proved to be a waste of time. The North should have just remained by itself from the start. Then the Korean War wouldn't have started, and therefore there would've been less problems.
